Welcome to Viet-C.A.R.E

We are aware of the disparities and cultural stigma that mental health holds in our communities. With a multi-disciplinary approach that includes the community in the solution, we hope you will join us in combatting the mental health stigma.

Our work revolves around raising awareness, providing support, and reaching out to those who are in need of mental health support. With the support from volunteers and community agencies, we aim to provide a platform for conversations to bridge the intergenerational gap and invest in our youth’s future.

Senior Wellness Program

When the California COVID-19 stay-at-home orders began taking effect in early 2020, we saw firsthand the service gaps that affected our monolingual & immigrant Vietnamese community members, especially the older adult population (55+). The restrictions helped keep our most vulnerable community members safe; however, the isolating effect of the orders increased feelings of loneliness. Our goal with SWP is to address the socioemotional well-being of our isolated seniors in the community. Want to learn more?
